Nursery Program Overview
Our Nursery program serves children ages two to three-and-a-half and is integrated with our early childhood classrooms to support a multi-age community. Children are gently introduced to group routines through observation, imitation, and guided participation in play and daily activities.
We emphasize consistent caregiver relationships and predictable daily rhythms to help children build trust and confidence. Thoughtful language use and rich verbal interactions support early speech development, and we warmly welcome the linguistic diversity of our school community.
Throughout the day, children have opportunities for both indoor and outdoor activities designed to promote gross and fine motor development in a safe, supervised environment. These activities are carefully structured to support physical coordination, early social skills, and age-appropriate independence.
During meals, children use child-friendly dishware and are encouraged to participate in simple cleanup tasks appropriate to their abilities. These contributions help build a sense of responsibility and self-efficacy.
Our goal is to foster a calm, respectful environment where young children feel safe, valued, and ready to engage with the world around them.
