Tuition

Rose Rock School’s income-based tuition provides an equitable wage for staff, promotes economic diversity, and ensures financial solvency for the school. IRS Form 1040 from the previous tax year will be provided by each family upon enrollment. The adjusted gross income will be used to determine the appropriate category of tuition. RRS reserves the right to adjust tuition midyear, if necessary.

Tuition Reduction

The highest income category for half, full, and extended days is considered full-price tuition. Families are invited to apply for tuition reduction, in order to receive the tuition rate the corresponds to their household income. Tuition reduction applications will be provided with the enrollment contract. Families will be asked to supply RRS with federal tax form 1040 to determine the appropriate category of tuition.

Reduced tuition is not guaranteed. Rose Rock School’s final determination regarding reduced tuition will be determined by availability of funds. If funds allow, additional scholarships may be available for families who demonstrate the need for further financial assistance.

Extending Payments Over 12 Months

The academic year is 10 months long (Aug-May), and full tuition is paid during those months. Families have the option of extending payments over 12 months (Aug-July), reducing the monthly amount owed.

Sibling Discount

For the highest annual income brackets (above $100K), families with multiple children will have the opportunity to request paying at a single lower income bracket. For example, a family in good financial standing with three children attending RRS with a household income of $130- $150K may be allowed to pay the tuition corresponding to the $100- $130K household income. Families will be required to submit an IRS 1040 to receive this discount. RRS’s granting of this request will be based upon availability of funds.
