Wondergarten & Kindergarten (Ages 3.5–6)

Our Wondergarten and Kindergarten programs serve children from approximately three-and-a-half to six years old. Placement into each classroom is based on individual developmental readiness, including self-care abilities, social participation, and emerging focus skills. Final placement decisions are made in collaboration with teachers and families to ensure the best environment for each child.

In addition to outdoor play and foundational skills, children engage in a variety of age-appropriate art and craft activities using natural materials such as cotton, wool, wood, beeswax, and clay. These creative experiences often reflect seasonal themes and are designed to build fine motor skills, focus, and imagination in a purposeful way. Activities like watercolor painting and hand sewing are introduced through modeling and guided practice.

Children also take part in structured tasks that support responsibility and independence. Examples include helping prepare snacks, caring for the classroom environment, participating in simple gardening tasks, and contributing to seasonal projects like arranging flowers for the lunch table.

Each day begins with a group gathering that includes age-appropriate songs, stories, and movement activities. These experiences help children develop language skills, memory, and confidence while promoting group cohesion and joy in learning.

Storytelling and puppet play are central to the language-rich environment we create. These activities nurture listening comprehension, expressive language, and an early interest in reading. Older children are supported in exploring their own creativity and beginning to express their ideas through practical, artistic work.
